I enjoy this hardware store ! They actually greet you with a friendliness that lets you know that your business is appreciated. I haven't been in there there yet where I wasn't physically walked to the item that I was searching for. Very knowledgeable staff also.
You'll pay a little more than the large home improvement chains but you'll get a lot better service from friendly people.
Called a couple of weeks ago to get some 10% clear ammonia, which I was having a hard time finding for a while. They didn't have it in stock, but offered to put in an order for it that day, and put one on hold for me. They were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole experience, even giving me a call to let me know when it was on backorder. Not too much long after that I was able to go pick it up from the store. Great customer service, will definitely be back!

This place is more like hardware stores the way they use to be before Home Depot and Lowe's. I can find things that are not available elsewhere. The people are very helpful and friendly. It's not crowded or hectic. They have offered to order something that they didn't have. Their prices are reasonably close to the big box places on most commonly stocked items as well. Sometimes I go there just to get other ideas for solutions for projects I'm working on.
