My god, great tacos. I've been going to another Mex Rest down the road, not gonna bash them or give you a name ,but I will say this about them .The to go taco are put together is very sloppy. El Toro is clean and cheaper. Service is great. Thanks El Toro.
I had the Chilaquiles plate for brunch today at El Toro Mexican Food on Pat Booker. They're just the right ratio of eggs to veggies to tortillas to cheese. Their green sauce is very spicy which is the way I like it. Their chips are homemade and the salsa is flavorful. The homemade corn tortillas are really thick. And the waitresses are great, as is the family who owns and runs El Toro. I go once a week because it is one of my favorites.
El Toro is the only place I get Barbacoa from. Its never overly fatty or greasy and the tacos are always packed with food. They don't skimp on the quality at all and the prices are incredibly fair. All of the staff are nice and have a smile on their face at all times. Genuine Mexican food on Pat Booker.
Absolutely THE best place for Mexican Food in the area! Self seating dining area. Delicious breakfast and very friendly waitresses, too! They'll keep your coffee cup full! :) Do not leave San Antonio without eating here! You WILL want to come back!
This place is like a hole in the wall type with great service and very yummy food! Though it's a bit tight but the wait is not long cause everyone is so focused on eating and the service is quick! Their hours are 5AM to 2PM do they serve breakfast and lunch foods all together. A perfect place for an affordable quick and delicious meal!
